What AI does and what you decide
What AI does
- Sorts a task into a category
- Writes questions about unclear parts
- Splits a task into steps
- Writes encouragement messages
What you decide
- The answers to the questions
- Whether to use the suggested steps
- Marking steps as done
AI produces suggestions. It does not complete or delete tasks on its own.
Checking AI output
- Each AI response is checked against a fixed format.
- If it does not match, it is generated again.
- If an AI feature fails, the credit used is returned.
Data handling
- Only the task text is sent to the AI feature. Member identifiers are not sent.
- Tasks you enter are not used to train AI.
- Personal data of service users is handled under the LittleTask privacy policy.
How we build
- The web app is built with Next.js and TypeScript, the mobile app with Expo, the server with Java and Spring Boot, and the AI features with Python.
- We use Claude Code to write and review code, tests, and operations scripts.
- A person reviews each change before it is applied.
Our plan for Claude
We plan to move LittleTask's AI features to the Claude API, starting with clarifying questions and task breakdown.
